Initially a mild-mannered electronics store employee, Hughie's life is irrevocably changed when his girlfriend, Robin, is accidentally killed by A-Train, a speedster superhero (or "Supe") from the prestigious group, The Seven. This tragic event ignites a desire for vengeance within Hughie.
Hughie's first appearance is in the pilot episode of The Boys, titled "The Name of the Game," which aired on Amazon Prime Video in 2019.
Recruited by Billy Butcher, the leader of The Boys, Hughie joins their mission to expose the truth about Vought International, the corporation that manages the Supes, and to hold them accountable for their actions.
